About this event

Promoting Loudoun County Through Over 50 Years of Racing Heritage

Riders from across the state and the globe travel to test their mettle in a thrilling contest that always has the crowds cheering to take in that final, thrilling run to the finish line. This rain or shine event features something for everyone, including vendors, and is always family-friendly. The Loudoun Hunt Point to Point represents one of the largest fundraisers for Loudoun Hunt & Loudoun Fairfax Hunt during the year. We are grateful for the support of our members, patrons, staff, and race participants who work to make the Races a success each year and allow us to continue to provide superior sport to the members and guests of Loudoun Hunt & Loudoun Fairfax Hunt.

Children 12 and under are free of charge, but must register, and fill out the COVID Waiver and Health Questionnaire (or have filled out by an accompanying adult).

All children regardless of age are included within the 6 person limit for Patron spaces, so please plan your party accordingly.

Rail Spaces and Restrictions for 2021

As the Loudoun Hunt Point-to-Point continues planning for our upcoming Races on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Morven Park, we wish to provide you some important details of how our races will run this season. Out of an abundance of caution, and following the current Commonwealth restrictions on large gatherings, we will have limited spectator attendance for the Races.

Please pay close attention to the below guidelines to which all spectators must adhere:

  • Pre-registration will be mandatory and on a “first come, first served” basis, offered to our existing Patrons and Subscribers first. Though Morven Park provides excellent opportunities for social distancing, we have many more Patrons and Subscribers than the limits will allow. If you arrive at the gate on the day of the Races and have not pre-registered and paid, you will be turned away.
  • A COVID Waiver and Pre-Race Health Screening Questionnaire must be filled out by all members of your party and presented to the Gate Personnel at time of entry onto the Morven Park grounds. If any of your party fail the Questionnaire, you will not be admitted.
  • Temperature checks and face-masks will be required. Masks will be required at all times when you are not eating or drinking. These rules will be enforced by security personnel and those not in compliance may be escorted off the property.
  • Social distancing must be maintained when you are not within your designated space. Rail Spaces will be at least 6 feet apart and the space between will be cordoned off. Please do not attempt to park additional vehicles or exceed the number of persons allowed in a space (6) or you will be asked to leave the grounds.
  • Registration will be based on number of persons. Fees are $100 per person and must be pre-paid. Once the limit has been achieved, registration will close. If you are registering for a party of up to 6 people, please provide full payment and the names of all those in the party at the time of registration. Names will be checked at the Gate.
  • Your Rail Space number may not be the same is in prior years due to the unique nature of running under COVID restrictions this year. You will be issued a space number and the space will be clearly marked.
  • All parties will be responsible to take away their own trash for the health and safety of officials, volunteers, and other spectators. Trash bags will be provided.
  • Posting to social media outlets must not include any photos without masks or distancing being observed. Violators may be asked to leave the event.
